PokerStars has revealed the details surrounding the operator’s iconic Championship of Online Poker (COOP) series’ return to the US-regulated markets.

Starting September 10, each of the operator’s three US-facing sites will run state-specific COOP series in New Jersey (NJCOOP), Pennsylvania (PACOOP) and Michigan (MICOOP) with a combined guaranteed prize pool of $4.5 million.

The series will run concurrently with no shared prize pools and players will be competing within the state.

The PACOOP in Pennsylvania will be the largest of the three boasting $2 million in guaranteed prize pools. It will represent an increase of $500,000 year-on-year and will share its own record for the largest online tournament series in the Keystone Market.
